(Talha is Portuguese for terracotta, and this was amphora fermented.)
Aromas of apple and pear, with some fermentation character as well (esters?), with a hint of sulfur. Medium-light body, with flavors of minerals and chalk. Nice acidity. This is a very clean wine, but not particularly complex. 89 points.

Terracotta is a traditional Alentejo wine vessel. The vessels are known as Talha within Alentejo. Only the Alentejo and Georgia have a continuous tradition of using terracotta.
