There is a hint of bitterness in the aroma, along with some grape stem and dark fruits. There is plum and blackberry, along with black pepper as well as red pepper (pimento, the vegetable, not the spice), and some currant. In the mouth, this is big and juicy fruity, and tastes as young as it is. There are decent tannins that are nice now, but they don’t seem like enough for long term aging. I taste peach and red apple skin, light red plum, and orange citrus as well. 88 points.
