Rustic aroma with a hint of funk. Swirling gives a little solvent, along with strawberry and flowers, perhaps plumeria. The wine received no wood treatment to speak of, but later shows a wood aroma. The flavor is quite fruity, with lots of tannins, and orange citrus. I didn't score this at the time, but am guessing it was in the 90-92 point range.
