TN: 2004 Bacalhôa 10 Year Old Moscatel de Setúbal Superior

Huge herbal aromas with tarragon, lavender, sandalwood, frankincense, and sage; on top of honey and honeycomb. Very sweet, with flavors of sage and lavender, along with honey and vanilla. There also is some sultana in there as well, and it seems like a meaty or fatty wine. Some would say this is too sweet, but I am not one of those people. This was just fascinating! 95 points.

Yes, this has both a year and "10 Year Old" on the label. They have a 20 year old as well that also has a year.

I liked this so much that I bought a bottle and brought it home. I opened that bottle a couple of weeks ago. It was enjoyable, but nowhere near as interesting as the bottle noted above on 3 September 2021.
