ftlop comtest announced
roy,
i truly think that as runnerup, i'm deserving of at least a 750ml. from ftlop. after all, you did formally "declare" a runnerup, and several folks mentioned "got port" as a keeper.
something you'd consider? hell, i think i sent in 40 potential slogans and will probably be sending you on some more!!

Do not fear, the bottle is prominently announced in the upcoming newsletter. I am still away for 36 hours or so, and upon returning home the newsletter will be released by the following weekend, so Fred's anticipation will be abated.

ftlop contest
hey roy,
since you officially "declared" me runnerup, don't you think at least a 375
should be awarded?
hope to see you in nyc soon--opening day is less than 2 weeks away.

Dave,
The jury is still out on a runner up prize. It was never part of the deal. Besides, do you have any idea how few 375s I own? Of course you don't. 8)
I won't be in NY until May and no, I don't have dates yet.

Be careful what you ask for...
I happened to see a pristine case of 357ml Ruby Cruz in Roy's cellar - meticulously hidden in a "Quinto do Vesuvio 1994" wooden box.
