1994 Quarles Harris Vintage Port

1994 Quarles Harris VP. Decanted about 9 hrs. Still a dark color but starting to show some light fading from its youth. While just starting to show some secondary characteristics, this is still mostly youthful plums and red stone fruit. A touch of licorice, slightly softening tannins and fabulous acidity. Maturing at a slightly faster rate than the top VP’s of this vintage, and a little less complexity, this is still youthful and full of upside potential. I loved the long lingering finish this possessed.
