New Quevedo White Table Wine - Folgasao

Post by Andy Velebil »

I periodically look through the TTB's label approval system, which is open to the public. Once in a while you can see something approved that is not yet known, or not widely known. I just noticed a Quevedo white wine called Folgasao. It is 100% Folgasao grape. The back label states "QLAB is the perfect excuse to have fun experimenting with friends! In this case, we teamed up with Tomas Addim (although friends call him Tommy) to create a singe varietal Folgasao wine, the last plantation by our dad in Trovisca. After 5 months in Hungarian Barrels (like Tommy!) we bottled this fresh aromatic white wine, creamy and full-bodied to share with the best company!"

It is not imported by their usual Utah importer, but by Small Lot Imports, Inc in St. Paul, MN. It also has a really cool and colorful front label.
