Decanted 4 hrs. Very few sediments at decanting. 4 months in french oak and 6 months in bottle. Consisting of 5 grapes: Touriga Nacional. Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Barroca. Deep dark red. Aroma of subdued fruit, some wood and herbs. Full body. Taste was both powerful and smooth/elegant. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Also well-structured. A “big” wine. Dry towards the end. Long aftertaste. 92 pts.
