A rather short interview, but a few bits of trivia many may not know.

... including port brands such as Croft, Fonseca, and Krohn.
Um, I thought they just sold off that last one, at least the name.

They did. however, the interview could have taken place before and it was just now being published.

I considered that distinct possibility, and that's probably what happened. So, shoddy journalism.

Adrian Bridge, CEO of Fladgate Partnership, has been steadfast in his commitment to expand beyond the traditional confines of port wine.
After having been steadfast in his commitment to "NEVER" produce Douro or any table wines, written in countless dozens of articles and interviews spanning more than 2 decades.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

Which was a B.S. lie to begin with. As they made a table wine for the restaurant at Taylor’s lodge for years. Regardless, glad he finally realized TFP needed to diversify their portfolio and include more table wines into the mix.

Now if he’d just get rid of some distractions and start focusing more on Port and wine again…

They real joke is that they still don't probably care about table wines, and are simply chasing the huge influx of money that went into the hard seltzer category in the late 2010s led by White Claw in the U.S..
