Taylor's new VVO White Port released

Post by Roy Hersh »

More than a remarkable wine, VVOP White is the culmination of generations of stewardship. The wines that compose this blend were laid down by people who would never see them bottled, entrusted instead to successive generations to preserve, protect and one day decide whether they should finally be shared.

Drawn from one of Taylor's rarest historic reserves, this is the oldest White Port ever released by the House. Once these exceptional stocks are gone, they can never be recreated.

Presented in a bespoke crystal decanter created in partnership withVista Alegre, and housed in an elegant presentation case crafted from carefully selected certified materials, VVOP White reflects Taylor's enduring commitment to craftsmanship, authenticity and excellence.

Here is a brief and very cool video:

The presentation reminds me of Scion. I wonder if it will be priced in that range. A bottle of that came up for auction recently for significantly less than original retail--of course it has been about 10 years since that was released.
