Dark black stone fruit, plums, menthol and some pine resin on the nose. Big black stone fruit and heavy tannins pop out on the beginning of the palate. Then waves of plums, chocolate, and lots of acidity to balance it out. A fruity and tannic finish that isn't as elegant as the Ferreira. This is more a muscle Port. A very promising young Vintage Port that continues the recent declarations of this wine.
