NYT Article on Pastel de Tentugal

Post by Bradley Bogdan »

Woke up to a wonderful look at the women maintaining the tradition of Pastel de Tentugal. Not only did it make me incredibly hungry for some pastry and custard, holy crap do they work it into a giant sheet before cutting it down! It’s the size of a room!

Sadly, for me it says "someone unlocked this story for you" but it then requires that I log in to read it anyway. :(

Ah bummer. I'd copy the text, but its a multimedia type article where the text and captioning is largely overlaid over video of the folks doing it.
