10 Year Old Tawny by Niepoort

This is one of the better 10 year tawnies I've had the pleasure to drink. This tawny is a beautiful orangish-tawny in color with a slight ruby tint. The nose offers medium intensity with dried cherry, caramel, dates, nuts, and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is full body, rich and round. Very good acidity. Nice balance. Very long finish with caramel. Some spicy notes and a little burn from alcohol but not too much. Very good. Love the finish. 91
