20 Year Old Tawny Port by Graham's

Bought this in a 375ml format at my local wine retailer. Drank this chilled at around 60 degrees.

Full-bodied. Hints of toffee and a nice finish of vanilla. Lacks the nuttiness I prefer in my tawnies. Still, it's pretty good and I know I'll be sad that they didn't have this in a 750ml format when my bottle runs out.

I give it 89/100

Robert, thanks for the TN and I know what you mean about wanting more. A 375, of wine or Port, never seems quite enough. I always want a little more...then again the same happens with a 750 or magnum too

Normally, I'd like I bottle of tawny to last about a week but I'd be surprised if this made it past monday night

Still, 375ml while no good for tawny for me, lets me try a lot vintage ports before I buy them in a larger format

Thanks for the TN... I have a bottle of this in the cellar just waiting to be cracked. I am arranging a mini-"horizontal" of 10 and 20 yr old Tawnies, and this along with Otima 20 and Taylor 20 will be the 3 20 yr olds served.

I'm looking forward to it already!

Todd, looking forward to the tasting notes from your horizontal. Since the hot weather has started, I've really been into tawnies.
