1970 Taylor (Fladgate) Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (11/11/2007)
I've had the pleasure to taste this wine 4 times now. This may be the best showing yet. The nose was incredibly fragrant giving lots of red fruits, chocolate, cinnamon, and plums. The palate was rich, lush, and full bodied with soft supple tannins. perfect balance and no heat from the aguardente. Just a nice warm finish that went on and on. (97 pts.)
