My, what a monster. Tons of very ripe, yet fresh, plums and blackberries mashed with exotic spices and violets. Lots of extract and structure but the structure is fine enough to be enjoyable now, although quite primary. Mouth coating and luscious; super vintage port. This appears to have a long future ahead of it... my wine of the year (so far).

This is (again) great news to me as I snagged a helluva deal on a 6 pack a few months ago. I have had one up on death row for over a month as i had planned to enjoy this one on Christmas. But on the Eve festivities, I forgot to decant and everyone's recommendation here was for a good 12 to 24 hours. Thus I wisely kept it for another day. One which I cannot wait reading a post like yours Marco
