1990 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Moderate ruby color with some brown on the edge. A nice nose of plums and cherries with a touch of mint. A very smooth initial palate, stewed blueberries, hint of mint or eucalyptus, a pleasant warmth. However, this one seems less integrated with fading/stewed fruit. The end suffers from a very hot finish. 87 points
