Good luck with that! The going rate is about half what they're asking.

It's an impressive list, but I don't see anything there that's even reasonably priced even with the FTLOP discount. Every price I checked was at least 20% over Wine-Searcher, and in most cases more like 50% higher.

Normally I don't comment, I just offer the lists that I am sent. The new owner sent me an email a couple of weeks ago and told me that the previous owner (someone I drank with once a year) was known for really high prices and I agreed. The new owner mentioned that he was going to work hard to bring prices more in line. From this list, I don't think they've really achieved that goal as of yet. A great listing of Port and maybe one of the deepest inventories in America ... however if they want to sell to serious Port lovers, they still have some work to do on making these gems more accessible with pricing that is far more in line with reality of the marketplace.
