The '70 Offley was very much like a Colheita in the glass. It had scents of caramel and lemon mixed with toffee on the nose. On the tongue it was like a sugary vanilla flavored flan combined with some citrus. Overall the 1970 Offley was not a bad wine but unlike a vintage Port in style. This may have been due to improper storage.
