2007 Cockburn – Cask sample: Touriga Nacional
Opaque purple, with a hint of herb on the nose amongst the primary fruit. The palate had a more velvet mouthfeel, with excellent levels of tannin and acidity. When blended with the Touriga Franca sample, the whole was more than the sum of its parts.
