Blind tasting at Roy's, 4 of 8
Light red color, pink meniscus. The nose has nice raspberry aromas with some mint, flowers, and an earthy feel to it. Really soft tannin on the palate. Fully mature. Also offers up aromas / flavors of cinnamon, caramel, straw. Cotton candy finish. This Port was very elegant and a pleasure to taste. With a stroke of luck, I correctly guessed the vintage as 1960. My third favorite of the evening.

Re: 1960 Ferreira Vintage Port
Kudos on a great call getting the vintage spot on. Very impressive!
i felt the love from this Port and am glad I have another. I may seek out a handful more too. Super stuff and my brother's birth year and I am always happy to have more 1960 options for his upcoming 50th in two years.

Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
