The end of Prohibition delayed for years

Post by Roy Hersh »

In April of 1959 Oklahoma finally ended Prohibition in that state, 26 years after the Federal Gov't. did and allowed all states to do the same.

Yea,
Well this year I'm going to celebrate the whole time. I've a whole stock of wine to consume. By next New Years, my liver is going to be begging for mercy.

Oh, for Derek that's easy - 1000 days @ 1 bottle per day, less the odd night out on the Dublin juice..

..about a pipe of port

That's a bit harsh, Tom. I distinctly remember one night in 2006 when I didn't have any port at all :snooty: :Naughty: - maybe that's the dedicated port drinker's equivalent of a leap year
