NV Taylor First Estate Reserve Port

Post by Richard Henderson »

Another of these winter NV's I have been trying. This has a sweet meat, mince meat beef , lamb with mint jelly nose. I know that sounds wine geeky, but it is what I smell. The entry is smooth with lots of nutmeg, cinnamon. allspice , cloves spice. A really big mid-palte coating the roof of he mouth.Nice finsh. Lots of ripe dark berry fruit. Moderate heat. Classic Taylor.
Another great NV.

I know I've had this one at some point many years ago, but honestly it's been so long I can't even remember. Based on your TN's I've posted a question in the main Port Discussion section about the top dogs of Reserve Ruby Ports.
