1997 Messias Quinta do Cachão Vintage Port

Post by Carlos Rodriguez »

Clear garnet(maroon) color, with brown notes and wide edge. Soft aroma of mature fruit and licorice. In mouth it gives the sensation of thickness, sweet and soft without leaving alcoholic notes. Long postaste, ...
It's a port that doesn't stand out in anything. Neither in wrong, nor in the good things. But for this reason, it's a port that you can drink it very easily, having a good time. I wouldn't recomend it for special occasions.
I'll try it again in some years to see if it has opened or if it was already on his way down. Now I don't know it.

Thanks for your impression and I really hope you will give us another of how this was later on. We don't get enough Messias data points, so I appreciate this note.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

Thank you as well. I have one of these. I'll share my notes some day, but it may be a good while.
