* You are caught red-handed, unconsciously swirling the contents of ...
your water glass.


* The waiter in a nice restaurant comes over and ceremoniously presents the cork and pours your wine and you sniff it and without even tasting it, give him ... "the nod."


Ok, now it's your turn, you probably have at least one good one!

I don't think you are a wine geek if you do it. Some people can do it just pretending they know about wine...

when you spend more money on wine than food

when you photographs your bottle

when you read wine books before going to bed

when you try to identify what actors are drinking in the movies or to approve or not if they are drinking in appropriate glasses

Yeah, I'm bummed about that. At least I got married in a good year, but I'm going to have to wait for a while for those to come into their prime.

When you name your child after a wine brand

I mentioned that to a friend, and she pointed out that Taylor was a very common name in the 1990s. And I replied, "Yeah, but tell that to her sisters Fladgate and Yeatman."
