1991 Warre's VP ($115; open-bottle price in restaurant; likely about 2/3 of that to take out)
Opened and poured immediately. I left this in the restaurant for the "Gang of Port": anybody who knows that such a group exists can ask for a taste. A good way to extend interest in port to other patrons and staff. If there's any left on Wed., I'll get another glass to see how it's changed since Sunday.
This was one of the remaining bottles left from a sampler case of Warre's VP that the wine guy bought for the restaurant. I cherry-picked the '63, '66, and '83 to take home. I still have the '83. I wonder if there are any more of those cases out there. Make a nice vertical!

Taylor's Chip Dry - Old White Port - Extra Selected - old old old bottle, just bought because of the label and the historical value!
some old LBV's. I've had two bottles of a 1983 Croft filtered LBV before.
Yeah a wouldn't hold out hope of that white Port being any good to drink...but it's always cool to hang onto some of those old labels. I love the IVDP's display of old labels/bottles in Regua.
After the FTLOP 4th Anniversary party, I went back to my source and ordered their last two bottles. I just received my confirmation today, so hopefully they'll arrive early next week!
I had a moment of weakness, the pocket book ain't too happy but I am
2 - 1920 Constantino VP
2- 1924 Constantino VP
3- 1996 Noval Nacional's (hey at $180 a bottle on sale it was a steal that I couldn't pass up..sorry they are all gone now)
1- 1950 Croft VP
Only had the Noval, the rest I've never had yet, but the prices were relatively cheap so it was worth the flier on them.

WOW I'm so Jealous!!!!!!
On my side, motivated with the Magnum topic, I decided to boost that division by 2. I got tempted by Taylor's 97 and Fonseca's 2000. I'm not gonna say the price, I feal like feeding Bill Gates.
Living the dream and now working for a Port company
