Unfiltered and a driven cork was used.
Been slowly sipping on this the past few days and it's put on some nice body weight in that time. Still very youthful and full of black berries and a surprising amount of tannins for an LBV. While I have enjoyed this bottle, it is still a little rough around the edges and needs a couple of years to start to mellow out and integrate better. A trait to look for in something worthy of aging. Considering I found this for about $16 I think it would make a nice case buy for earlier to mid-term drinking while your VP's mature. I feel this will continue to improve over the next 8-12 years. 89-90 points

Nice to hear more about Offley after our recent adventure there. I really enjoyed our tasting, the 10 year old Tawny Challenge and even the tour was quite interesting. A nice Port lodge to visit for anybody looking for a nice experience.
