1985 Graham's Vintage Port
1985 Grahams – Colour on this one getting a bit lighter than other 85s, slightly hot nose, and although the entry was certainly sweet, it wasn’t as sweet as I usually expect for Grahams. Nice concentration in the middle and lingering finish made this pleasurable but if this bottle was typical, I should be looking at my bottles earlier than I had thought appropriate.

Had this tonight with a pop and pour (I know, I know). Little dead on the nose, but had everything you'd expect this classic to taste like. Yes, not as sweet as I associate Graham with, but I think that would've turned around with more air time. Still a wonderful port that has a lot in it. Really young looking in the glass. It was not my idea to open it, but how could I say no? We were drinking the 1986 SW Colheita but my friend wanted to save a little so he opened the Graham. Twist my arm, lol.

No, sorry, I do not give numerical scores to my tasting notes, not being a Parker acolyte. I can post without scores or I can not post, whichever you prefer.

Scores or no scores, please post! It's great to see these TN's, especially on this particular wine. I still have quite a bit and it's nice to see that it's doing well. It was not showing well a few years ago.
The one thing that I will point out is that if you post a TN as a reply to the original TN, then the reply TN will not be included in the Tasting Note Database (TNDB). For example, Bill's note is in the TNDB, but Moses' is not. So Moses, if you want to post yours as its own post as well, then that will be in the TNDB. I have no problem with a double post - one as a followup post (such as moses) and then the same post on its own.
