- 2001 Poças Porto Late Bottled Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (5/25/2010)
Pop and Pour
Dark red with brown rim.
Typical nose, slightly hot, a bit herbal but still lots of ripe red fruit.
Light mouthfeel and short aftertaste.
This gained a lot over the next couple of hours so if I try it again I will definately open it a couple of hours before drinking. (85 pts.)

Claus,
If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the bottle?

Hi Andy
It was in a bin of mixed offers for $11, but they have them on the shelf for 16 aswell, so I'll probably go back for one or two more.
Best regards
Claus
Just got back from shopping, found another one for $11(same bin)

For $11 I'd grab them too, just for a good "cellar defender" Port.

Certainly worth the punt.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
