People not listing name and location

Post by Andy Velebil »

Since this is a real name and location site, I have noticed most new people that sign up do not list their true name or location. Is there a way Stewart can make those two fields madatory before someone can register?

Website upgrade

We are getting close to implementing the long-awaited website upgrade. One of the upgrade items will require first and last names when registering.

Thanks. Will the upgrade also require location too?

We can create any fields we want for the new registration form and make them mandatory, and i know that location is one that we will be requiring. Makes it easier for people to at least know which country someone is in when giving advice on wine shops, events, etc.

I'll open a really nice bottle of Vintage Port for Stewart when he gets this done. He deserves it!

I second that, I'm sure he is working his tail off behind the scenes. Thanks Stewart :D

Stewart, my advice would be to ask for a Nacional from your birth year. Roy don't know when to open these bottles, it would be perfect occasion

Seriously, I hope that you are going to post your TN and that Roy is going to hook you on port!

Fred,

Stewart and I met when he was already hooked on Port, although the hook continues on.
