Decant: None - Bottled 1999. Good appearance, deep toffee / caramel colour. A nose of pleasant burnt sugar and some odd tones of burnt rubber. Very sweet, smooth impact. Acid and toffee flavours that are well balanced in the mouth and develop a reasonable level of complexity. An acid surge dominates the initial aftertaste but the length and size of the aftertaste is surprisingly strong and impressive to earn an extra point on the score. 92 points
