TN: 1970 Cockburn Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Mid red, clear centre and strongly coloured into the rim. Ripe and sweet redcurrant jelly on the nose with just a touch of lime to brighten up the sweetness - very promising. A nice balance on the palate, restrained but with plenty of fruit. Not big, but refined and elegant. The aftertaste starts gently but is very enjoyable and delicious, staying on the cheeks for a long time. 90 points
