Decant: Just Opened - Deep black in colour, impenetrable centre, dark rim. Vivid blackcurrant nose, full of fruit and herbal complexity. Simple in its entry, fruit is restrained but ever-present. Quite light in weight but with plenty of gentle but grippy tannins. Limited in its complexity, but with plenty of acidity. A dry and tannic start to the aftertaste, followed by dry blackcurrant skins that lasts well. Much improved on the early blend. 87-89. 87 points
