TN: 1963 Croft Vintage Port

Decant: 4 hours - When Sean found out that I had never tasted the 1963 Croft he opened a bottle for me. We were able to give it around 4 hours in the decanter before the end of the evening and it deepened in colour quite distinctively during that time. The nose was of rose hips and cherry juice and the wine was distinctively thick in the mouth with layers of cherry and plum. The aftertaste was good and lasted well. I really enjoyed this wine and appreciated the generosity of Sean in opening it. 89/100 or 5/5. 89 points
