Decant: 2 hours - Deep red in colour (so much so that it stained the inside of my sample bottle used to carry a sample home). A very fruity nose with lots of off-ripe blackberries but with a green stalkiness also in the mix. In the mouth, the texture was watery, with tannins dominating the initial impacy but the sweet fruit giving some balance, although not enough to make this pleasant to drink now. Great aftertaste, fruity and long lasting.

This wine was significantly better 48 hours later, when tasted again from a 5cl sample bottle. Most likely, this is currently going through a dumb phase. 88 points
