Decant: 4 hours - Deep magenta in colour with a centre that is almost - but not quite - transparent. A nose which has plenty of fruit but also some herbaceous and nettle-leaf qualities. Silky texture, still with lots of fruit showing but a slightly harsh edge hidden in the mid-palate. The tannins are hidden and very gentle. The aftertaste is generous and big, full of dark chocolate and sour cherries. 92 points
