TN: 1970 Ferreira Vintage Port

Decant: 6 hours - Dark mid-red colour, very clear and with good colour on the rim. The nose is light, elegant and full of the scent of summer flowers. Full and fruit forward in the mouth, very big and bold. Really fruit dominated but just a touch too much acidity which burns slightly on the back of the throat. The aftertaste is big and luscious, extremely pleasant and of decent length. Extremely enjoyable drinking port. 92 points
