Decant: 14 hours - Double decanted. Good colour, deep but transparent centre. Very open (more than the '63 shown alongside) and inviting nose, full of mulled wine and sweet cherries. Gentle spiciness in the mouth; good complexity in the mouth with plenty of fruit and fully integrated tannins. Slightly hot aftertaste, but then a long and flavoursome sweet finish. Very long and delicious. Extremely impressive. 93 points
