TN: 2007 Fonseca Vintage Port

Decant: 2 hours - Snapshot tasting note. Deeply extracted colour but just transparent in the centre and with a violet rim. Same nose of green leaves and blackcurrants as in the Croft, but this time with the alcohol showing through. Not a great smell. Very silky mouthfeel, gentle and caressing. Good development of fruit in the mid-palate and with the tannins and acidity to balance it out. Terrific aftertaste, huge in dimensions and in length. 92-94 92 points
