Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Cask sample bottled in 2009. Mahogany red, orange rim. Typical colheita nose of slightly funky stewed fruit also showing Bovril and rose hips and a touch of heat. Medium body, quite hot and with some rhubarb showing through a lovely stewed fruitiness. The acidity dominates the afteraste, which ends with burnt orange. Not well balanced. 82 points
