Decant: 1 hour - A golden barley sugar colour, with a very clear and light centre. Sweet redcurrant jelly on the nose, with a lovely dusty tone. Sweet and fruity on entry, with a delightful spicy backbone. Soft and gentle tannins and a perfect acidity. Good layering of flavours and a hint of stewed prunes. Delightful. A little hot on the aftertaste, but a long and delicious black licorice finish. Really enjoyable, a lovely wine at its peak. 92 points
