TN: 1991 Morgan Vintage Port

Decant: 1 hour - Tasted quite soon after decanting, this had a lovely black cherry juice colour and an aroma to match. Searing acidity in the mouth took some getting used to, but once accustomed to the acidity, the fruit showed through quite well. The aftertaste was a little shorter than I remember. Having drunk this on many occasions and having seen this port perform considerably better in the past, I am beginning to wonder if this port is closing down again or perhaps it just demands a longer decant time. 87 points
