Decant: 2 hours - Nicely red, but the most transparent of the wines shown in the first two flights although it shows surprisingly little bricking on the rim. Delicious on the nose, with very inviting sweet redcurrant jelly. A silky and elegant structure, with sweet fruit and gentle tannins; the fruit dominated by sweet redcurrant cordial laced with spicy juniper. Pleasant and enjoyable and with a few more years before it reaches maturity. A huge aftertaste and a big, big finish that is much bigger than the the nose or palate would predict. Slightly underwhelming until the finish arrives. 91 points
