TN: 1997 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port

Decant: Just Opened - Deep colour showing little evolution. Masses of blueberries and the typical violets on the nose. So soft on entry, then a bite of bitter menthol before the tannins gently grab the attention - but all this drowned in a blueberry fruit bomb. I was so taken by this wine that I forgot to write a note on the aftertaste! Must try it again at home soon. This was my Vesuvio of the tasting. 94 points
