Decant: 8 hours - The colour of burnt barley-sugar, darker that the 1948 shown alongside. Little showing on the nose, perhaps a bit of mandarin orange. Sweet brown sugar in the mouth, some dryness in the cheeks, and a bit of attractive fruit. Warm aftertaste, soft and enjoyable and very long. Very tasty finish. Old, aged but still very refined and enjoyable. 86 points
