TN: 1958 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 5 hours - Ullaged to low shoulder. Mid red / brown, light and clear. Very medicinal nose with alcohol - perhaps of grapefruit. Sweet and lovely in the mouth initially with lots of delicate floral tones over some flavours of meat juice and redcurrant jelly. Big aftertaste, slightly burning but long also long and lingering; sweet but lacking in fruit. Acceptable drinking, but unbalanced. Clearly in decline. 80 points
