TN: 1975 Warre Vintage Port

Decant: 3½ hours - Very light in colour, easily the lightest of the ports on show at this tasting. A similar harsh note on the nose as found on most of the previous older ports. Light flavours, but very sweet and with an enormous acidity that simply bursts through the sweetness and settles into a gentle, citric presence - lemon and lime marmalade. Acid burn on swallowing and which fades quite quickly. Tasty and enjoyable. 84 points
