Decant: 5 hours - Lighter colour than the 1983 shown alongside. An attractive and fruity nose, with strawberry over a gentle apple-mint. Slightly hollow entry, lightweight - even watery - but with pleasant sweet bramble fruit. A quick burn on swallowing, followed by a pleasant but week aftertaste. Serviceable port, but judging by the older wines this is one to drink soomer rather than later. 86 points
