2007 Taylor Vintage Port
Excellent but not great. Good tannins and nice fruits, but none of the expected Taylor spice. This may be a case of reverse label bias - I just expect more from a Taylor Port.
Score: 93+ points. Which is to say, even though I expect more from a Taylor this one is still quite excellent! It just needed something that I can't quite place my finger on in order to break into the "outstanding" point range for me. It was as excellent as excellent gets, but there was no spark... no magic.
