1994 Kopke Colheita
bottled 2009
Color: Rich tawny in the glass.
Nose: Some oak, some alcohol, some vague dried fruits. Possibly a little vanilla.
Palate: Slightly buttery with some rich, dark dried apricots. Round and fairly full. Mild heat. Very nice.
Finish: Toasted oak, some lingering apricot.
Score: 91 points. To me, needs more time in oak to finish maturing as a Colheita.
